TV wall mounting in Eastwood
TV mounting with the bracket, wall construction, viewing position and power or cable arrangements planned together.

A clean, safe install
What’s included in a TV install?
Most of what makes a wall-mounted TV look right is out of sight: a power point behind the screen, cables run inside the wall, and a bracket fixed to something that will hold it. Running new power inside the wall is electrical work, so it needs an electrician.
Tell us the TV size, the bracket if you have one, the wall type and where the other equipment sits. A photo of the wall helps us plan the job.

Your property
Planning the work in Eastwood
Eastwood includes older houses, duplexes and apartments, with newer buildings concentrated near the station. A renovation, a unit repair and a small tenancy fit-out each need different access arrangements.
The wall and the cable path
Solid brick and older plaster walls often need a different fixing and cable route from plasterboard on studs. We explain visible cable-cover options before drilling or cutting.
The wall
Plasterboard, brick and concrete need different fixings, and a large TV needs the studs or masonry. We check the wall before fixing anything.
Where the cables go
Cables can run inside a hollow wall, or in a neat cover on a solid one. Tell us where the set-top box, console or soundbar will sit.
Your bracket
Fixed, tilting and full-motion brackets suit different rooms and TV sizes. You can supply one, or ask us to.
What the quote covers
The written quote sets out the mounting, any new power point, the cable work and who supplies the bracket.

TV wall mounting questions
Can you hide the cables behind the wall?
On a hollow plasterboard wall, usually yes: cables run inside the wall from behind the TV to the cabinet below. On brick or concrete, a neat surface cover is often the practical choice. We check the wall and explain the options in the quote.
Why does the power point need an electrician?
Moving or adding a power point, or running mains power inside a wall, is electrical wiring work. In NSW it must be done by a licensed electrician. Pushing a power cord through the wall is not a safe substitute.
Can you mount a large TV on plasterboard?
A large TV should be fixed into the wall studs, not just the plasterboard. We find the studs and use fixings rated for the TV and bracket. If the studs don’t line up with where you want the TV, we’ll talk you through the options.
Do you supply the bracket?
Either works. Tell us the TV make and size and whether you have a bracket. If you’d like us to supply one, the quote will list it separately.
What access should I arrange for the visit?
Keep the work area and switchboard accessible, tell us about parking or locked gates, and arrange entry to any rooms involved. For an apartment or shared building, also check meter-room access, lift bookings and permitted work hours with the building manager. Confirm approval for work affecting common property.
