1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and Xcel Electrical Corp ('we', 'us', or 'our'), concerning your access to and use of our electrical services and website.

2. Services
We provide professional electrical services including but not limited to:
- Emergency Electrical Repairs
- Residential Electrical Services
- Commercial Electrical Services
- Switchboard Upgrades
- New Build Electrical
- Electrical Safety Inspections
- Smoke Alarm Installation
- Power Point Installation
- Lighting Installation
- Electrical Fault Finding
- Electrical Maintenance
- On-Site Assessments
All services are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
3. Quotes and Pricing
3.1. All quotes provided are:
- Valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Subject to site inspection and assessment
- Inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated
- Subject to change if the scope of work changes
- Based on the condition of the electrical systems and property at the time of inspection
3.2. Payment Terms:
- A deposit may be required for larger jobs
- Final payment is due upon completion of work
- We accept cash, direct deposit, and credit card payments
- Late payments may incur additional fees
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances may change. Our policy regarding cancellations and rescheduling is as follows:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before scheduled service: No charge
- Cancellations made 24-48 hours before scheduled service: 25% of quoted price may be charged
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled service: 50% of quoted price may be charged
- No-shows: 50% of quoted price will be charged
If we need to reschedule due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative date and time at no additional cost.
5. Limitations of Liability
While we take every precaution to prevent damage to property, we cannot be held liable for:
- Pre-existing property damage or conditions
- Damage to unmarked plumbing, electrical wiring, or concealed pipes
- Weather-related issues during or after service completion
- Concealed structural issues discovered after work begins
- Environmental factors beyond our control
- Changes to property conditions after assessment
- Issues related to the age and condition of existing materials or structures that were not visible during inspection
- Implementation of recommendations by third parties
6. Work Health and Safety
We maintain strict compliance with Work Health and Safety regulations. Our team reserves the right to:
- Cease work if unsafe conditions arise
- Require clear access to work areas
- Implement safety zones around renovation areas
- Refuse work that compromises safety standards
- Postpone work due to unforeseen structural issues
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
7. Warranties and Guarantees
All our work comes with:
- 12-month workmanship warranty as specified in your quote
- Compliance with Australian Electrical Safety Standards and Wiring Rules (AS/NZS 3000)
- Licensed and qualified electricians performing all electrical work
- Certificate of Compliance Electrical Work (CCEW) for completed installations
Please note that we cannot guarantee:
- Electrical systems affected by pre-existing conditions not visible during inspection
- Issues arising from client-supplied materials or equipment
- Damage from power surges, lightning strikes, or other extreme electrical events
- Damage caused by improper use, tampering, or unauthorised modifications
- Problems arising from normal wear and tear of electrical components
