Oven & cooktop installation in Beaumont Hills
Electrical connection and replacement of ovens and cooktops, with the appliance requirements checked against the existing circuit and supply.

New appliances, the right circuit
What are you installing?
Electric ovens and induction cooktops draw a lot of power. Many need their own circuit, and some need a heavier cable or space on the switchboard. We check what your kitchen has before the appliance arrives, so installation day goes to plan.
Send us the make and model and a photo of where it’s going, plus a photo of the switchboard if you can. Gas appliances need a licensed gasfitter for the gas connection; we look after the electrical side.

Your property
Planning the work in Beaumont Hills
Homes in Beaumont Hills include predominantly separate houses. A previous renovation does not establish the condition or capacity of the wiring.
Check the model before installation
Older kitchen circuits may not suit modern cooking equipment. We assess cable capacity, protection and isolation, and separate any circuit upgrade from the appliance connection in the quote.
The appliance’s requirements
The installation manual sets the circuit rating and connection method. Send the model so we can check it against your existing wiring.
Your circuit and switchboard
An old cable, an undersized circuit or a full switchboard can mean extra work before a high-load appliance can be connected. We tell you before you buy, where we can.
Fitting into the cabinetry
A built-in oven or cooktop must suit the cut-out and the cabinet. Benchtop or joinery changes are a separate trade.
What the quote covers
The written quote sets out the connection, any new circuit, isolating switch or switchboard work, and removal of the old appliance if you want us to take it.

Oven and cooktop questions
Can I switch from a gas cooktop to induction?
Usually, yes, but it is more than a swap. Induction cooktops typically need a dedicated circuit with a heavier cable than a standard power point, and the switchboard needs room and capacity for it. We check your supply and switchboard and quote the full job.
The old gas connection must be capped by a licensed gasfitter. We handle the electrical work.
Can you just plug in my new oven?
Some ovens plug into a power point, but many are hardwired or need their own circuit. The installation manual says which. Send us the model and a photo of the existing connection, and we’ll tell you what’s needed before the appliance arrives.
Do you install gas cooktops?
We do the electrical side, such as the power point for the ignition, but the gas connection must be done by a licensed gasfitter. If you are replacing gas with an electric or induction cooktop, we can do the electrical installation once the gas is capped.
Will you take the old appliance away?
Tell us when you ask for a quote. Removal of the old oven or cooktop can be included, and the quote will show it.
What access should I arrange for the visit?
Keep the work area and switchboard accessible, tell us about parking or locked gates, and arrange entry to any rooms involved. Mention restricted ceiling or underfloor access when enquiring; you do not need to enter these spaces yourself.
